Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Zebastian Mellberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Eslöv FF's goalkeeper Zebastian Mellberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Vikström. Zebastian Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Berglund in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Alfons Hamnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicklas Alfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eslöv FF's Zebastian Mellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Eslöv FF from getting a goal against them. When Sonny Berglund came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Malå fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sonny Berglund couldn't finish the play. Gösta Granqvist hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Eslöv FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. If Sonny Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zebastian Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Göran Vikström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Mellberg having to interfere. Zebastian Mellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Vikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Eslöv FF's zone, Göran Vikström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zebastian Mellberg came out of the goal and Göran Vikström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Malå players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
