The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Kaxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zebastian Mellberg was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Zebastian Mellberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viksjöfors. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Kaxe in the 44th minute of play forced Eslöv FF's goalkeeper Zebastian Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Viksjöfors's Hjalmar Kaxe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zebastian Mellberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Zebastian Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Hjalmar Kaxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zebastian Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Alfons Hamnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eslöv FF and the Viksjöfors players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Hjalmar Kaxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Viksjöfors's Hjalmar Kaxe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 82 minutes into the match, Eslöv FF's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Kaxe came free, but Zebastian Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Eslöv FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Torsten Kjellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viksjöfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Kjellberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Igelström took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zebastian Mellberg. Zebastian Mellberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Viksjöfors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
