Jens-Ove Ahlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Andréas Finnman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torbjörn Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Axel Fernström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Fernström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andréas Finnman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Ahlgren in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andréas Finnman saved 3D gänget FC from getting behind. Andréas Finnman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Ahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hannes Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Andréas Finnman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Ahlgren in the 37th minute of play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Axel Fernström from a close distance when the talented Andréas Finnman managed to make a qualified save. 3D gänget FC's players were relieved. Axel Fernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Finnman having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens-Ove Ahlgren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Borussia Dortmund were awarded a corner. Ola Kämpe went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of 3D gänget FC's goalie and right to Karl-Ove Moberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. 3D gänget FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 55th minute Jens-Ove Ahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Finnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Jens-Ove Ahlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ove Ahlgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of 3D gänget FC booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Fernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borussia Dortmund walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
