Jimmy Engman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Fagrell in the 4th minute of the match. Bromma IP's Jimmy Engman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Fagrell in the 6th minute of play. Ulrik Fridlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt Strömberg having to make a save. Bengt Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Fridlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Skultuna Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Björling. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robin Kjellkvist in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Strömberg saved Skultuna Rangers from getting behind. Robin Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Strömberg having to interfere. Bromma IP's Robin Kjellkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Fagrell in the 24th minute of play forced Bromma IP's goalkeeper Jimmy Engman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Bromma IP got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Thedin. Wilhelm Thedin charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Thedin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bromma IP's Wilhelm Thedin got a free kick in the 26th minute. A hard shot by Jens-Åke Westerstrand from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Jimmy Engman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Thor Moberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulrik Fridlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thor Moberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jimmy Engman made a huge save. When Ernst Fagrell came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Skultuna Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Fagrell couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Robin Kjellkvist made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ulrik Fridlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bromma IP's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrik Fridlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Skultuna Rangers's Joar Eklund got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ulrik Fridlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Skultuna Rangers getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kristoffer Asklund hit a great ball. Ulrik Fridlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Bengt Strömberg made a huge save. After having played for 69 minutes, Ulrik Fridlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bromma IP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrik Fridlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernst Fagrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Engman having to interfere. If Robin Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bromma IP getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sebastian Nyberg hit a great ball. Jimmy Engman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Fagrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ulrik Fridlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bromma IP booed when Skultuna Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Kjellkvist in the 93rd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
