A hard shot by Joar Jakobsson from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Philip Kielstedt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Tage Kilman came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tage Kilman couldn't finish the play. Sören Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Kilström, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Daniel Kilström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Berggren having to interfere. With a little luck, Djurgården's Philip Kielstedt got control of the ball when Tage Kilman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Djurgården's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Ånger came free, but Philip Kielstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Lindell during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Djurgården got a freekick which was hit by Rune Lindell. After having played for 46 minutes, Tage Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tage Kilman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elof Ånger struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Philip Kielstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Forss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Elof Ånger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Kielstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd's Elof Ånger made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Kielstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th match minute, Djurgården was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Lindell to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Djurgården players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
