Maximilian Eliasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klas Tunberg went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Svante Wiberg made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Alsterbro IFK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Torgny Morat hit a great ball. Maximilian Eliasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Tunberg in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Torgny Morat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Kyrkesund IFK's Torbjörn Gadd broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Frank Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Pilblad having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Hybbert in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magnus Pilblad saved Kyrkesund IFK from getting behind. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Svante Wiberg sped through Kyrkesund IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Magnus Pilblad. A hard shot 67 in the game by Evert Nyström from a close distance when the talented Maximilian Eliasson managed to make a qualified save. Alsterbro IFK's players were relieved. If Evert Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Hybbert in the 79th minute of play forced Kyrkesund IFK's goalkeeper Magnus Pilblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. In the 91st minute, Klas Tunberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Klas Tunberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kyrkesund IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klas Tunberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alsterbro IFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kyrkesund IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
