Alsterbro IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svante Wiberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aleksander Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Anthon Andersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alsterbro IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gropen BK the free kick. In the 11th minute, Anthon Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Alsterbro IFK's Torgny Morat got a free kick in the 13th minute. The Alsterbro IFK fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Alsterbro IFK's Frank Hybbert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Frank Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Eckegren having to interfere. Aleksander Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Wiberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Svante Wiberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Eckegren having to interfere. Svante Wiberg got in the 39th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Aleksander Eckegren handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Alfred Jönsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torgny Morat kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svante Wiberg to make the kick off. Maximilian Eliasson made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Kenny Ahlgren sent off a good shot on target. Alfred Jönsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximilian Eliasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Jönsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Jönsson in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximilian Eliasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alsterbro IFK's Frank Hybbert got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gropen BK's zone, Frank Hybbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksander Eckegren came out of the goal and Frank Hybbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Frank Hybbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gropen BK's Aleksander Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximilian Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Jönsson in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svante Wiberg in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Eckegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Frank Hybbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Edmund Blomqvist fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alsterbro IFK's protests and gave Edmund Blomqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Jerry Ennegren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alsterbro IFK's Maximilian Eliasson didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Stig Olofsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksander Eckegren was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Claes Vidman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alsterbro IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gropen BK the free kick. Claes Vidman kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Maximilian Eliasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Alsterbro IFK were the better team. Alsterbro IFK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
