After a rather tough play, Viksjös Vikingar's Melker Jonsson got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Asplund in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Michael Västberg saved Viksjös Vikingar from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mathias Asplund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Michael Västberg was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 17 played minutes Sikfors RK got a freekick which was hit by Tord Kjellqvist. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joacim Rönn in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Michael Västberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Tord Kjellqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Michael Västberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Lindholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Karl-Michael Västberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Rönn in the 42nd minute of play. Viksjös Vikingar's Karl-Michael Västberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Asplund in the 43rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathias Asplund made a kick off. Tord Sävström's late challenge caught a Sikfors RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tord Sävström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Viksjös Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Sävström to maneuver through the defense. Joacim Rönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Västberg having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Mathias Asplund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sikfors RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Asplund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Joacim Rönn took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Karl-Michael Västberg to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joacim Rönn got free with Karl-Michael Västberg in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Nils Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sikfors RK's Mathias Asplund got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joacim Rönn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joacim Rönn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sikfors RK played a much better game than Viksjös Vikingar and deserved their victory. The Viksjös Vikingar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
