Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peder Klintæus started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Bror Ödman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malå and the Rottne players grew even worse after the yellow card. 3 minutes into the game, one of Malå:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Johan Kvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Åke Myr's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Olov Blanck charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Blanck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rottne getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Olov Blanck hit a great ball. If Peder Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rottne booed when Malå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Ödman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Myr in the 24th minute of play forced Malå's goalkeeper Johan Kvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Michel Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Bern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Malå's Johan Kvist got control of the ball when Viktor Lennartsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per-Åke Myr hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Malå's goalkeeper Johan Kvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Lennartsson. The audience was convinced that Per-Åke Myr's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johan Kvist was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Per-Åke Myr struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Johan Kvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rottne. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Åke Myr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Malå fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! After having played for 61 minutes, Viktor Lennartsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rottne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Lennartsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Åke Myr took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Kvist. Johan Kvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Johan Kvist came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Rottne's Per-Åke Myr. But to his dismay, Per-Åke Myr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Johan Kvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Lennartsson in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rottne's Claes Jonsson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Per-Åke Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Malå getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Michel Martinsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Myr in the 80th minute of play forced Malå's goalkeeper Johan Kvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Malå's Jakob Böcklund got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Per-Åke Myr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rottne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Åke Myr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johan Kvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Åke Myr's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Per-Åke Myr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Johan Kvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Malå getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jakob Böcklund hit a great ball. Johan Kvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Myr, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Åke Myr in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Kvist saved Malå from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rottne fully deserved thier win.
