Spectators: 7308 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 50) Malå's Peder Klintæus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michel Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Bern having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Rottne got a freekick which was hit by Claes Jonsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peder Klintæus in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konrad Bern saved Rottne from getting behind. After 21 minutes, Jakob Böcklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malå and the Rottne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Malå's Johan Kvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Myr in the 22nd minute of play. Peder Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Bern having to interfere. When Claes Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rottne's protests and gave Claes Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Åke Myr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kvist having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match Jon Lindberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Kvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Malå's zone, Per-Åke Myr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Kvist came out of the goal and Per-Åke Myr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Michel Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 played minutes Malå got a freekick which was hit by Peder Klintæus. After 62 played minutes Malå got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Ström. In the 65th minute, Bror Ödman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Åke Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Åke Myr struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Johan Kvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rottne. Johan Kvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Myr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Kvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Myr in the 83rd minute of play. Per-Åke Myr had several of the Malå's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Johan Kvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Per-Åke Myr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Johan Kvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Kvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Lennartsson in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rottne's goalkeeper Konrad Bern, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rottne had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
