After 7 played minutes Team Golden Pink Sunshine got a freekick which was hit by Sten Öberg. After 15 played minutes Team Golden Pink Sunshine got a freekick which was hit by Kim Sundberg. In the 16th match minute, Team Golden Pink Sunshine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Jarl Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Ronny Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wictor Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Lars-Erik Österberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kim Sundberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Jarl Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Wictor Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Nilsson in the 38th minute of play. Joakim Nilsson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Wictor Lundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tranquillo FC. 42 minutes into the match, Team Golden Pink Sunshine's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Engström came free, but Wictor Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Team Golden Pink Sunshine's zone, Alvin Målare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Lundin came out of the goal and Alvin Målare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Lundin having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kim Sundberg to make the kick off. Joakim Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wictor Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Tranquillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Lund came free, but Lars-Erik Österberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Team Golden Pink Sunshine's goalkeeper Wictor Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvin Målare. Wictor Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Nyberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Tranquillo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Tranquillo FC defense, Ronny Lund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars-Erik Österberg. The Tranquillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars-Erik Österberg should have stopped the shot. Anders Hamnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anders Hamnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johnny Walroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kim Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lars-Erik Österberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Nilsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Wictor Lundin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wictor Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Engström in the 89th minute of the match. Tranquillo FC's Joakim Nilsson suffered a concussion in the 90th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Charles Pihlblad kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Anders Hamnberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wictor Lundin. Team Golden Pink Sunshine's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stig Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Team Golden Pink Sunshine's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Nilsson came free, but Wictor Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Team Golden Pink Sunshine could leave the field as winners, despite Tranquillo FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
