After a defensive mix-up in Burgsvik IFK's zone, Kasper Svanér stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Bagge came out of the goal and Kasper Svanér tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ian Bagge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Svensson's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Kasper Svanér received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ian Bagge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Vesterberg in the 25th minute of play forced Burgsvik IFK's goalkeeper Ian Bagge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Classon hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Kasper Svanér took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Bagge. Ian Bagge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Tord Eklund took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Per-Olof Ström to make any attempt to save it. 39 minutes into the match, Burgsvik IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Svanér came free, but Ian Bagge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kjell Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gullringen's zone, Tord Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Ström came out of the goal and Tord Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tord Eklund was the one to do the kick off. Ian Bagge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Svanér, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Kjell Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kjell Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Bagge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Håkan Vesterberg kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Gösta Biörkman hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes, Tord Eklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burgsvik IFK and the Gullringen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gösta Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tord Eklund got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Burgsvik IFK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tord Eklund hit a great ball. If Kjell Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Bagge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Svanér, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Gullringen players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Burgsvik IFK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
