Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 100) Erik Samuelsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th match minute, Björkö IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Tholsson in the 7th minute of play forced Björkö IF's goalkeeper Arvin Kvalfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Björkö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Björklund came free, but Arvin Kvalfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Fc Inter got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Öberg. Arvin Kvalfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvin Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Erik Samuelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Roger Tidén made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Edvin Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Kvalfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fc Inter's Egil Classon got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of Fc Inter booed when Björkö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Pedersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Kvalfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Dahlberg in the 42nd minute of the match. Jan-Erik Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Roger Tidén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björkö IF. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Tholsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Björkö IF's Arvin Kvalfält proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Björkö IF from getting a goal against them. Edvin Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Kvalfält having to interfere. Edvin Dahlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Samuelsson took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Tidén. Roger Tidén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 67 played minutes, Björkö IF's Peter Pedersson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roger Tidén came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Björkö IF reached it. In the 69thth minute of the game Erik Samuelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Inter's Roger Tidén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erik Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lennart Beckström came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Björkö IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Beckström couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Inter's zone, Jan-Erik Ivarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Tidén came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Ivarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björkö IF's Erik Samuelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Hård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Björkö IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
