Moliden's Gösta Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Stenström in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Per Stenström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Vallapojkarna's Per Stenström made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gösta Hafström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th match minute, Moliden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Erik Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Per Stenström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Hafström was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Folke Mattsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Stenström in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Hafström saved Moliden from getting behind. Christian Hökkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Pihlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Folke Mattsson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gösta Hafström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallapojkarna. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Stenström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per Stenström in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gösta Hafström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Krister Hellkvist hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Per Stenström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Per Stenström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gösta Hafström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Stenström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60th play minutes Per Stenström shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Gösta Hafström and just under the crossbar into goal. Folke Mattsson scored 0-6 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gösta Hafström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vallapojkarna's Per Stenström got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Krister Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Stenström in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Hafström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Lindgren in the 75th minute of play forced Vallapojkarna's goalkeeper Christian Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Stenström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, William Törnqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gösta Hafström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 82nd minute, Vallapojkarna's Per Stenström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gösta Hafström. Gösta Hafström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. The audience was convinced that Per Stenström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Hafström was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. A hard shot 89 in the game by Per Stenström from a close distance when the talented Gösta Hafström managed to make a qualified save. Moliden's players were relieved.
