Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yngve Mossberg to make the kick off. Roger Tidén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Mossberg in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Fc Inter's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Holmgren came free, but Roger Tidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Gunnar Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Backalagens GOIF fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Backalagens GOIF's Yngve Mossberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Karl-Michael Walmarsson came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Inter's Edvin Dahlberg. But to his dismay, Edvin Dahlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 71 minutes, Håkan Tham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Inter and the Backalagens GOIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Backalagens GOIF booed when Fc Inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Tham didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ian Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Möller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Fc Inter defense, Gunnar Holmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Tidén. The Fc Inter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Tidén should have stopped the shot. Karl-Michael Walmarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Tholsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Backalagens GOIF booed when Fc Inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Vassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Fc Inter got a freekick which was hit by Peter Björklund. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Inter's zone, Yngve Mossberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Tidén came out of the goal and Yngve Mossberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Gunnar Holmgren notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Fc Inter's Roger Tidén. Roger Tidén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
