Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tord Jönsson got the match started through his kick off. Hugo Kvick kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. A collision led to Celeste Lavíe getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sune Sandberg hit a great ball. With a little luck, Celeste Lavíe's Jan-Ove Bäcklin got control of the ball when Lars Runeberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tord Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Bäcklin having to interfere. Tobias Algren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jan-Ove Bäcklin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Celeste Lavíe's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Bäcklin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Runeberg. 18 minutes into the match, Celeste Lavíe's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Jönsson came free, but Jan-Ove Bäcklin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grytgöl's Lars Runeberg got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Grytgöl booed when Celeste Lavíe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Grytgöl's Jan-Ove Bäcklin threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tord Jönsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Celeste Lavíe booed when Grytgöl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Hääger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt Bocklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Ros, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Celeste Lavíe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lars Runeberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan-Ove Bäcklin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Jönsson in the 41st minute of play. Stefan Alfors's late challenge caught a Grytgöl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Alfors helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Stefan Alfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Ove Bäcklin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Runeberg in the 43rd minute. Bengt Bocklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Alström in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Tord Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Bäcklin having to interfere. Jan-Ove Bäcklin came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Grytgöl's Tord Jönsson. But to his dismay, Tord Jönsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jan-Ove Bäcklin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Jönsson in the 60th minute of play. John Fågel charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Fågel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. John Fågel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Celeste Lavíe's Sune Sandberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Tord Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grytgöl's supporters rose to their feet, but Tord Jönsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Bäcklin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Runeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Bäcklin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Celeste Lavíe defense, Lars Runeberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Ove Bäcklin. The Celeste Lavíe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Ove Bäcklin should have stopped the shot. If Tord Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Celeste Lavíe's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Jönsson came free, but Jan-Ove Bäcklin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Grytgöl's zone, Simon Alström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Bocklund came out of the goal and Simon Alström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Celeste Lavíe players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grytgöl.
