Otto Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Dag Dalman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Beckeman in the 16th minute of the match. Otto Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Jonasson in the 24th minute of play. August Vallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Dag Dalman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Forsberg in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Åke Jonasson to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by August Vallengren during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vidar Beckeman in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Vidar Beckeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dag Dalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingemar Brolin hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Birger Forsberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Dag Dalman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vidar Beckeman in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dag Dalman saved Grimstorp BF from getting behind. Adam Ekerot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Birger Forsberg came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Vinninga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Forsberg couldn't finish the play. Adam Ekerot's late challenge caught a Grimstorp BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Ekerot helped the player get up and apologised. Arvid Ödmann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Otto Albom. Vinninga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sven-Åke Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grimstorp BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Åke Jonasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Albom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Vinninga got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Wallin. Arvid Ödmann's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Otto Albom - 2-1 was put on the score board in the 81st minute. 91 minutes into the match, Christoffer Fridlund notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Vinninga's Otto Albom. Otto Albom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grimstorp BF fully deserved thier win.
