Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian Biörling took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jesper Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Torgny Lindell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torgny Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Christoffersson in the 13th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Roland Christoffersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsea's Torgny Lindell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Gallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Torgny Lindell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Gallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Roland Christoffersson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chelsea's Torgny Lindell. Torgny Lindell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute, Dan Gallin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skepplanda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Torgny Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Christoffersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Gallin took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torgny Lindell. Torgny Lindell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Torgny Lindell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesper Ekström's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Chelsea's Christian Biörling dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Gallin to make the kick off. Roland Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Gallin in the 54th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Torgny Lindell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skepplanda's Dan Gallin got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Roland Christoffersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skepplanda's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Hellqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roland Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Torgny Lindell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Skepplanda's Roland Christoffersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torgny Lindell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Anders Lundqvist hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Roland Christoffersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Torgny Lindell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Chelsea's Torgny Zachrisson got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Roland Christoffersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skepplanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Christoffersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Dan Gallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skepplanda played a much better game than Chelsea and deserved their victory. The Chelsea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
