The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Vallmark should have stopped the shot. In the 18th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Hägg. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The wind increased when Ingmar Josefsson made the kick off in the second half. Niklas Arenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Vallmark having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Jimmy Brodin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pontus Vallmark, passed just outside the right post. Ignacy Cichockis short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Pontus Vallmark to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pontus Vallmark was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jimmy Brodin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 57 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jimmy Brodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brottby's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Brodin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Vallmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Brottby's Niklas Arenberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ignacy Cichocki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pontus Vallmark firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimmy Brodin in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pontus Vallmark saved Liverpool FC from getting behind. Ignacy Cichocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Pontus Vallmark made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Brodin in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pontus Vallmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
