Spectators: 6960 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 38th minute Rutger Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Jönssons Hjältar's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Wallin came free, but Börje Enegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conny Lindblom made a kick off. Gösta Harlén's late challenge caught a Jönssons Hjältar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gösta Harlén helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jönssons Hjältar booed when Södra Vi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Harlén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ola Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Jönssons Hjältar's Börje Enegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Jönssons Hjältar from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Conny Lindblom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börje Enegren. That made the score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. Börje Enegren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Bagge in the 68th minute. It was a well-played corner which Karl-Michael Karlsson managed to volley towards the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Bagge got free with Börje Enegren in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
