Spectators: 7102 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 10) Lennart Nyman made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Einar Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mörrum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Lundqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, one of Mörrum:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mörrum. Östen Skog shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Einar Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Nyman took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Billberg. Andreas Billberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kenny Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Pilgren having to interfere. Lars Majman charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Majman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lars Majman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Einar Lundqvist struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Håkan Pilgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mörrum. Kenny Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Pilgren having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Philip Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Lennart Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Billberg having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, Lars Majman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mörrum's Andreas Billberg. Andreas Billberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Lennart Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lars Majman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Andreas Billberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute of the match Östen Skog sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Billberg skillfully saved the ball. After 71 played minutes St Johan FC got a freekick which was hit by Lars Majman. When Mörrum's Kenny Söderberg, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mörrum. Kenny Söderberg scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Håkan Pilgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thor Strömbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Billberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thor Strömbom ran back to his position shaking his head. After 88 minutes, Walter Brenner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St Johan FC and the Mörrum players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mörrum booed when St Johan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Brenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, one of Mörrum:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mörrum. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for St Johan FC. Östen Skog stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andreas Billberg. 2-3. St Johan FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
