With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Västlund in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Hamnberg saved Djura from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Djura's goalkeeper Michael Hamnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Västlund. 9 minutes into the match, Folke Åström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michael Hamnberg, 1-0. The supporters of Älvsbyn booed when Djura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Västlund scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Hamnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Djura's Michael Hamnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Åström in the 20th minute of play. Älvsbyn's Douglas Västlund came free and shot a quick shot against goal 24 minutes in the game, fortunately Michael Hamnberg had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Djura's goalkeeper Michael Hamnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Västlund. Folke Åström succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Douglas Västlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Michael Hamnberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Åström was the one to do the kick off. Bertil Larsfält's late challenge caught a Älvsbyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Larsfält helped the player get up and apologised. Bertil Larsfält hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Ove Arhenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Olof Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Douglas Västlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Hamnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Djura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Forsell to maneuver through the defense. Michael Hamnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Hamnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Folke Åström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djura's Michael Hamnberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Älvsbyn's Folke Åström in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Djura's goalie prevented a goal. If Folke Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Douglas Västlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Hamnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Djura's Olof Forsell got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Folke Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Åström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Hamnberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Djura defense, Folke Åström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Hamnberg. The Djura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Hamnberg should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Älvsbyn's Folke Åström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Hamnberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johannes Glanselius hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Älvsbyn had played much better football throughout.
