But to his dismay, Kim Lekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ian Groth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt-Åke Askstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Freddie Sundén kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boris Finman. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Freddie Sundén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boris Finman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mud Bath FC's Ingmar Collin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Sundén in the 27th minute of play forced Skillingsfors RK's goalkeeper Boris Finman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Freddie Sundén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skillingsfors RK's Boris Finman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddie Sundén in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boris Finman saved Skillingsfors RK from getting behind. Kim Lekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Mud Bath FC's Ingmar Collin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boris Finman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Groth was the one to do the kick off. Skillingsfors RK's Boris Finman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Sundén in the 54th minute of play.
