Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dick Nordin got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Tänndalen's Isaac Löfgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Christoffersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Georg Christoffersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Ahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Häll kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Isaac Löfgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georg Christoffersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Nitta FC's Karl-Erik Bållström got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tänndalen's Ivar Löfgren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nitta FC. Henrik Lustig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Nordin in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Tänndalen's Isaac Löfgren made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Christoffersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dick Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Henrik Lustig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dag Forsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Lustig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Ulf Ahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Georg Christoffersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dick Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Ulf Ahlqvist made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Dick Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nitta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Nordin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrik Lustig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Frank Gallin fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nitta FC's protests and gave Frank Gallin a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 minutes, Ove Pihlgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tänndalen and the Nitta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Ove Pihlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Nitta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Löfgren came free, but Georg Christoffersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ulf Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulf Ahlqvist in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Christoffersson saved Nitta FC from getting behind. When Isaac Löfgren fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tänndalen's protests and gave Isaac Löfgren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nitta FC booed when Tänndalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrik Lustig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Häll in the 78th minute of play. Henrik Lustig made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Dag Forsberg sent off a good shot on target. Tänndalen's Isaac Löfgren got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Vestlund charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Vestlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Mark Vestlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Dag Forsberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrik Lustig. Dag Forsberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
