The audience was convinced that Hugo Lund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredric Berggren was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. The supporters of Enkel vinst FF booed when Älta IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Dalström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Brolin got free with Fredric Berggren in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Älta IF's Vilhelm Dalström got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Enkel vinst FF's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Hedlund came free, but Uno Löfgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Niklas Brolin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Enkel vinst FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Brolin couldn't finish the play. Uno Löfgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Ödman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Philip Hedlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Enkel vinst FF's Uno Löfgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 minutes, Claes Benet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Älta IF and the Enkel vinst FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Älta IF got a freekick which was hit by Claes Benet. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Sven-Åke Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enkel vinst FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Åke Sundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vilhelm Dalström hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Max Ödman struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Uno Löfgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älta IF. In the 38th match minute, Enkel vinst FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Björkdal to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Hugo Lund fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hugo Lund made the kick off in the second half. When Freddie Rudberg came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Enkel vinst FF fans jumped to their feet. Max Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Löfgren having to interfere. Freddie Rudberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
