After having played for 8 minutes, Jimmie Enegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nya Sälä IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Enegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Älta IF's Fredric Berggren got control of the ball when Kenny Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Älta IF getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vilhelm Dalström hit a great ball. When Nya Sälä IF's Jimmie Enegren in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Älta IF's goalie prevented a goal. Vilhelm Dalström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Nya Sälä IF's Jimmie Enegren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fredric Berggren. Fredric Berggren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Henry Häll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Ödman in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nya Sälä IF's zone, Philip Hedlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Häll came out of the goal and Philip Hedlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Josef Sundling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nya Sälä IF's Henry Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Hedlund in the 25th minute of play. If Kenny Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenny Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Jimmie Enegren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jimmie Enegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Berggren having to interfere. Nya Sälä IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Josef Sundling in the 50th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Jimmie Enegren heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Henry Häll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Ödman in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Älta IF's zone, Kenny Blomqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Berggren came out of the goal and Kenny Blomqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Jimmie Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmie Enegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kenny Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Älta IF's goalkeeper Fredric Berggren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Jimmie Enegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nya Sälä IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Enegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
