Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) Arnäsvall's Michael Backman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Michael Backman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Westerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, BYT NAMN's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Backman came free, but Peter Westerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Kellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnäsvall's Michael Backman got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Michael Backman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Westerberg was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. If Ulrik Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Backman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Westerberg having to interfere. After 29 played minutes BYT NAMN got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Ekenberg. The corner ended in Sven-Edvin Wennersten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BYT NAMN's Peter Westerberg did a great save. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when BYT NAMN's Ove Thedin in the 34th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Stefan Malmström was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Arnäsvall through an amazing save. In the 37th minute, Carl Kellberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Westerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Ove Thedin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stefan Malmström, passed just outside the right post. Carl Kellberg scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Westerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Thedin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnäsvall's Stefan Malmström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Thedin in the 52nd minute of play. If Ulrik Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, BYT NAMN's George Kihlman got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Arnäsvall's Jens-Erik Majman got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ove Östman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stefan Malmström. Arnäsvall's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, BYT NAMN's George Kihlman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Malmström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 84 minutes into the match, Arnäsvall's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Boberg came free, but Stefan Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Backman in the 92nd minute of play forced BYT NAMN's goalkeeper Peter Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Malmström having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play Arnäsvall's Helge Mellin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Arnäsvall's Helge Mellin got a free kick in the 96th minute. Stefan Malmström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Boberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
