Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5493, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 13) Korna mosse's Elof Alin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Korna mosse's Ludvig Höijer got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ove Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Thedin in the 10th minute of play forced Korna mosse's goalkeeper Claes Lustig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ludvig Höijer came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Korna mosse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludvig Höijer couldn't finish the play. Peter Westerberg was a little too slow when Elof Alin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 31st match minute, Korna mosse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Häger to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, BYT NAMN's Ove Östman tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Claes Lustig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Alin in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Korna mosse's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Boberg came free, but Claes Lustig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BYT NAMN's Peter Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Alin in the 44th minute of play. Peter Westerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elof Alin's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Ulrik Boberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ove Thedin to make the kick off. Peter Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Alin in the 53rd minute of play. BYT NAMN's Peter Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvig Höijer in the 55th minute of play. Ulrik Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Lustig having to interfere. If Ove Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 minutes, George Kihlman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BYT NAMN and the Korna mosse players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Korna mosse booed when BYT NAMN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Kihlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viggo Näver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Peter Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elof Alin came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Korna mosse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Alin couldn't finish the play. Ludvig Höijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Peter Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Claes Lustig managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when BYT NAMN's Ulrik Boberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute, Pelle Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ove Östman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claes Lustig. Korna mosse's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ove Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ove Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 94 played minutes Korna mosse got a freekick which was hit by Gert Örtendal. Ove Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Claes Lustig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Korna mosse's Claes Lustig got control of the ball when Ulrik Boberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Korna mosse were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BYT NAMN for a fine match.
