Daniel Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Boberg in the 12th minute of the match. Vederslöv's Daniel Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrik Boberg in the 16th minute of play. Ove Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Thedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Martin Ingemarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Westerberg was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Ingemarsson to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Vederslöv's Martin Ingemarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Westerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Ove Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Ingemarsson in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Westerberg saved BYT NAMN from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Vederslöv's Martin Ingemarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Westerberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stellan Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Peter Westerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vederslöv. Stellan Nordstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Westerberg having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
