Rävlanda's Edvard Karlstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Rävlanda from getting a goal against them. Christer Strandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reine Andreasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mattias Abelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christer Strandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sten Ståhlman fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obbola BF's protests and gave Sten Ståhlman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Obbola BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. Reine Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edvard Karlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rävlanda's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Knut Nilsson 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Obbola BF's Knut Nilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edvard Karlstedt. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. Freddie Stenman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Karlstedt having to interfere. If Eric Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Karlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Nilsson in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Christer Strandberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mattias Abelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Strandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Knut Nilsson made a kick off. Rävlanda's Edvard Karlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Nilsson in the 51st minute of play. If Freddie Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Obbola BF's Freddie Stenman got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvard Karlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Stenman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rävlanda's Åke Tönnberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Ragnar Enegren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvard Karlstedt skillfully saved the ball. Reine Andreasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattias Abelsson having to make a save. Rävlanda's Edvard Karlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Stenman in the 75th minute of play. When Simon Hjelm fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Edvard Karlstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mattias Abelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Strandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd match minute, Obbola BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Stenman to maneuver through the defense. Christer Strandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Knut Nilsson struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Edvard Karlstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obbola BF. Edvard Karlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Edvard Karlstedt came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Obbola BF's Knut Nilsson. But to his dismay, Knut Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Freddie Stenman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvard Karlstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Rävlanda's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Nilsson came free, but Edvard Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
