Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sven Jespersson got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Thames Ironworks FC booed when Lappträsk IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Lövkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Jörgen Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Jespersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Erland Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leif Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10thth minute of the game Henry Blomkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thames Ironworks FC's Bror Albäck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Blomkvist got free with Bror Albäck in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Pettersson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Brodin in the 19th minute of play forced Lappträsk IFK's goalkeeper Erland Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Leif Boberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lappträsk IFK's Leif Boberg got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bror Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Boberg in the 27th minute of the match. If Sven Jespersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thames Ironworks FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Leif Boberg scored to the left of an out of position Bror Albäck, making the score, 1-0. In the 41st minute Leif Boberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Blomkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Albäck having to interfere. Henry Blomkvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 46th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 55th minute Henry Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Brodin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Pettersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Henry Blomkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bror Albäck was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 66 minutes of play, Lappträsk IFK's Leif Boberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bror Albäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leif Boberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bror Albäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lappträsk IFK's Henry Blomkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torsten Lundhberg charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Lundhberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Thames Ironworks FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! 77 minutes into the match, Dan Kollberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bror Albäck. Thames Ironworks FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Kollberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Lappträsk IFK's Henry Blomkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bror Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Blomkvist in the 89th minute of the match. Henry Blomkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bror Albäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif Boberg's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Bror Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Boberg in the 99th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lappträsk IFK fully deserved thier win.
