Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Ove Söderlund took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Tommy Brodin could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Robert Pettersson however easily saved by the left post. When Åre's Karl-Ove Söderlund in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thames Ironworks FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Sven Jespersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Brodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Thames Ironworks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Söderlund came free, but Bror Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Jespersson in the 18th minute of play forced Åre's goalkeeper Robert Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Jespersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Pettersson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Thames Ironworks FC's Sven Jespersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert Pettersson. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Brodin got free with Robert Pettersson in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Tommy Brodin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thames Ironworks FC's Leonardo Käcker pulled a muscle in his leg after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Philip Asklund charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Asklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Philip Asklund kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Thames Ironworks FC's Torsten Lundhberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Tommy Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiph Öfverman might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bror Albäck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiph Öfverman ran back to his position shaking his head. Bror Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Söderlund in the 38th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
If Tommy Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Ove Söderlund in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bror Albäck saved Thames Ironworks FC from getting behind. Peter Siöberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Bror Albäck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Åre getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Philip Asklund hit a great ball. After 77 minutes of play Åre's Philip Asklund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 78 played minutes Åre got a freekick which was hit by Philip Asklund. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Siöberg got free with Bror Albäck in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Filiph Öfverman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Bror Albäck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter Siöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Åre getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Filiph Öfverman hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
