A collision led to Thames Ironworks FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Olof Linberg hit a great ball. Ivar Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Albäck having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Thames Ironworks FC's zone, Stefan Sellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bror Albäck came out of the goal and Stefan Sellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Kyflon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Thames Ironworks FC.
