In the 30thth minute of the game Simon Åberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moliden IF's Arvin Dahlqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Henriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Sillén in the 32nd minute. Matthias Bodin's late challenge caught a Moliden IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 41st minute Voxnabruk's Malcolm Sandberg took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Arvin Dahlqvist and thus the score was 1-3. In the 46th minute of the match Per-Arne Wennerlund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arvin Dahlqvist skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Voxnabruk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
