Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) After a rather tough play, Hult's Sven-Olof Wallgren got a free kick in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Börje Bolin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Grumps's Ronny Tiger. Ronny Tiger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Manfred Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Grumps's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Käller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manfred Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kevin Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Charlie Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, The Grumps's Pete Spencer got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Börje Bolin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Hult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Bolin couldn't finish the play. Charlie Andersson took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Eklund. Kevin Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Manfred Käller took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Kevin Eklund to make any attempt to save it. Ronny Tiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Ahlfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Edmund Ahlfors made the kick off in the second half. Charlie Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Eklund having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Manfred Käller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Eklund. Hult's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Käller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Kevin Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Sven-Olof Wallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfred Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kevin Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 84 minutes on the clock, Dennis Majman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Hult:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Grumps:s goal. Charlie Andersson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 87th minute, Börje Bolin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manfred Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Eklund having to interfere. Hult's Kevin Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Andersson in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hult's goalkeeper Kevin Eklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Manfred Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Grumps had played much better football throughout.
