The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Daniel Bohlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Landeryd IF and the Hult players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Bohlin hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Lars Lindgren came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Hult's Börje Bolin. But to his dismay, Börje Bolin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lars Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Bolin in the 12th minute. Lars Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Ahlfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Edmund Ahlfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hult's Sven-Olof Wallgren got a free kick in the 18th minute. Villiam Wennerberg scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Eklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Bolin in the 34th minute. With an all-out effort, Hult's Lars Lindgren threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmund Ahlfors, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lucas Klintæus hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Börje Bolin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Börje Bolin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lars Lindgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Daniel Bohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Landeryd IF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ingvar Ekström hit a great ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Landeryd IF's goalkeeper Lars Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Edmund Ahlfors made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Hult were awarded a corner. Dennis Majman went to the cornerflag to take it. Dennis Majman made a great header on Hult's corner, it was just that Landeryd IF's Lars Lindgren managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börje Bolin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Börje Bolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Bolin in the 68th minute of play forced Landeryd IF's goalkeeper Lars Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hult booed when Landeryd IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Klintæus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Bolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Lindgren having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Landeryd IF's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Bolin came free, but Lars Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Ahlfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Landeryd IF's Vilgot Gregersson got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dennis Majman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hult's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
