Arvid Bremming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Brenner having to interfere. The FC Eng players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Storlien FF were winning 0-1.

Torgny Brenner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sten Söderberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play.
