The supporters of Glommens IF booed when RevolutioN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Wahlnäs didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Glommens IF's Kim Bratt got control of the ball when Björn Ambjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Glommens IF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jon Vestlund hit a great ball. Björn Ambjörnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kim Bratt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Ambjörnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When Björn Ambjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the RevolutioN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Ambjörnsson couldn't finish the play. Björn Ambjörnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Kim Bratt made a huge save. After having played for 35 minutes, Patric Carlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glommens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patric Carlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind RevolutioN's goalkeeper Michael Strand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Michael Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patric Carlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Björn Ambjörnsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Kim Bratt however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Lundin in the 47th minute of play forced Glommens IF's goalkeeper Kim Bratt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kent Lundin to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Björn Ambjörnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kim Bratt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kim Bratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Kent Lundin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glommens IF's Kim Bratt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute Kent Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Bratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes, Jon Vestlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glommens IF and the RevolutioN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Glommens IF got a freekick which was hit by Jon Vestlund. In the 81st minute, Patric Carlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Glommens IF's Patric Carlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Jon Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glommens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Vestlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
