The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Mathias Wallin put in a rough tackle. 8 minutes into the game, one of Fenerbahce:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fenerbahce:s Elliott Fristedt showed great skill when he stopped David Lindqvist:s penalty. Hernandez CF were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Fenerbahce's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Lindqvist took the corner. Elliott Fristedt was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Tommy Musk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tommy Musk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Musk in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliott Fristedt saved Fenerbahce from getting behind. Torsten Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tommy Musk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernandez CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Musk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliott Fristedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes Tommy Musk rounded Fenerbahce's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Tommy Musk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Musk in the 38th minute of play forced Fenerbahce's goalkeeper Elliott Fristedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bror Flink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elliott Fristedt came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hernandez CF's Bror Flink. But to his dismay, Bror Flink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Anders Lidman's late challenge caught a Fenerbahce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Lidman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Hernandez CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Lidman to maneuver through the defense. Per-Arne Algren scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elliott Fristedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Tommy Musk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliott Fristedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Tommy Musk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Elliott Fristedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernandez CF's Verner Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Hernandez CF from getting a goal against them. Manfred Holmgren hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Hernandez CF's Verner Abrahamsson got control of the ball when Torsten Tomasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Torsten Tomasson made a precise shot to the right of Verner Abrahamsson. Hernandez CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Tommy Musk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Elliott Fristedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Musk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elliott Fristedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Musk, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Elias Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Torsten Tomasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torsten Tomasson got free with Verner Abrahamsson in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Musk in the 97th minute of play forced Fenerbahce's goalkeeper Elliott Fristedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
