Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 0) Ted Bollström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Ted Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Påryd's Bengt Möllgren got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Påryd's goalkeeper Sune Kilman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sune Kilman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Östman in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sillynannies's zone, Allan Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Nilsson came out of the goal and Allan Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Sillynannies's goalkeeper Leif Nilsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Lindgren. 41 minutes into the match, Påryd's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Östman came free, but Sune Kilman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Påryd's zone, Jan-Olof Fastesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sune Kilman came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Fastesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Fastesson in the 45th minute of play forced Påryd's goalkeeper Sune Kilman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Påryd's Allan Lindgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leif Nilsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viggo Östman to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Påryd got a freekick which was hit by George Frykberg. Sune Kilman made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jan-Olof Fastesson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Påryd getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alf Bohlin hit a great ball. Viggo Östman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Påryd booed when Sillynannies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Billström didn't quite understand what happened when in the 67 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After having played for 69 minutes, Allan Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Påryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Lindgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Einar Löfdahl fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Påryd's protests and gave Einar Löfdahl a yellow card for diving instead. Einar Löfdahl hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Sillynannies's Viggo Östman in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Påryd's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Påryd's Inge Säfström got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Påryd's Jimmy Koch got a free kick in the 85th minute. A hard shot 87 in the game by Jan-Olof Fastesson from a close distance when the talented Sune Kilman managed to make a qualified save. Påryd's players were relieved. Jan-Olof Fastesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sillynannies defense, Alf Bohlin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Nilsson. The Sillynannies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Nilsson should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Ted Bollström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leif Nilsson. Sillynannies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Bollström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Påryd had played much better football throughout.
