Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karl-Magnus Svanström got the match started through his kick off. Sven-Olof Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Löfdahl in the 5th minute of the match. Sven-Olof Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Bollström in the 12th minute of play. Påryd's Allan Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Andberg took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sune Kilman. Sune Kilman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Bettna's Hubert Käller shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sune Kilman but with some difficulty. Hubert Käller took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sune Kilman. Påryd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fred Markusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sune Kilman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Karl-Magnus Svanström came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bettna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Magnus Svanström couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Påryd defense, Mark Käller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sune Kilman. The Påryd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sune Kilman should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ted Bollström made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Påryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Bohlin to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match Hubert Käller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sune Kilman skillfully saved the ball. Karl-Magnus Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Kilman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Svanström in the 66th minute of play forced Påryd's goalkeeper Sune Kilman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Karl-Magnus Svanström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fred Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Einar Löfdahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Påryd and the Bettna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Påryd got a freekick which was hit by Einar Löfdahl. After 79 played minutes Påryd got a freekick which was hit by George Frykberg. Sune Kilman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Käller in the 89th minute of play. Ted Bollström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Sven-Olof Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bettna fully deserved thier win.
