Wojciech Jaszyna scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sture Berggren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Greger Salkvist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Hisings Backa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greger Salkvist couldn't finish the play. Sture Berggren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Klement Lato showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Greger Salkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sture Berggren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. United F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Klement Lato 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. If Greger Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. United F.C's Sture Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Lato in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Hisings Backa's Sture Berggren threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Klement Lato, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Greger Salkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Berggren having to interfere. United F.C's Sture Berggren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save United F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 48th minute of the match, Greger Salkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sture Berggren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alf Söderlund to strike the kick off in the second half. United F.C's Sture Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Albuquerque in the 57th minute of play. Sture Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Salkvist in the 58th minute of the match. Kennet Dalman made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hisings Backa's Per-Olof Wennerlund. After a rather tough play, United F.C's Sune Albohm got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Klement Lato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Hisings Backa's Greger Salkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sture Berggren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Greger Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sture Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sture Berggren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klement Lato went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Alf Söderlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Isildur Uskali firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind United F.C's goalkeeper Sture Berggren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Greger Salkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Sture Berggren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Greger Salkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hisings Backa's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Salkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sture Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sture Berggren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Greger Salkvist's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Ludwig Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hisings Backa had played much better football throughout.
