Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Egon Hermansson started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Mårtensson in the 4th minute of play forced MK Dons's goalkeeper Stig Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Alfred Colin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Kielstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, MK Dons's Brian Kielstedt threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfred Colin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 12 played minutes MK Dons got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Karlsson. 20 minutes into the match, MK Dons's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Hermansson came free, but Stig Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MK Dons's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 22nd minute of the game, when Gabriel Lundberg after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Spånga United's goal. Gabriel Lundberg was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Alfred Colin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spånga United's Brian Kielstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Ian Tillman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Spånga United's Lennart Rolfsson tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stig Ivarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Mårtensson's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, MK Dons's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Hermansson came free, but Stig Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Stig Ivarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spånga United. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Colin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brian Kielstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Colin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Ivarsson having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Spånga United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Modig to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Lundberg didn't quite understand what happened when in the 60 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. With a little luck, MK Dons's Stig Ivarsson got control of the ball when Carl Mårtensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Colin in the 69th minute of play forced Spånga United's goalkeeper Brian Kielstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Ivarsson made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Carl Mårtensson sent off a good shot on target. MK Dons's Stig Ivarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save MK Dons from getting a goal against them. After 82 played minutes MK Dons got a freekick which was hit by Georg Sundberg. Alfred Colin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Kielstedt having to interfere. Carl Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Stig Ivarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spånga United.
