The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hannes Siggman hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Elof Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Jimmy Sjöö was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svartsjö FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chili Cheese the free kick. Elof Wahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Asserlind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Asserlind took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elof Wahlström. Elof Wahlström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Stig Lidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Börje Ahlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elof Wahlström skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Henrik Frykberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niclas Torstensson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hugo Stephansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Svartsjö FK's Mattias Lundgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 33 played minutes Chili Cheese got a freekick which was hit by Olof Bergström. Niclas Torstensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svartsjö FK's Jimmy Sjöö got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Jimmy Sjöö off the ground. Jimmy Sjöö kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Hugo Stephansson took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Niclas Torstensson to make any attempt to save it. Björn Asserlind recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 54th minute, Olof Bergström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chili Cheese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Hugo Stephansson scored 3-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niclas Torstensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Svartsjö FK were furious when Henrik Frykberg was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Svartsjö FK:s Elof Wahlström showed great skill when he stopped Börje Ahlberg:s penalty. Olof Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by John Carlsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Svartsjö FK's Elof Wahlström got control of the ball when Olof Bergström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Björn Asserlind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chili Cheese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Asserlind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Torsten Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olof Bergström got free with Elof Wahlström in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Olof Bergström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Olof Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Svartsjö FK's Elof Wahlström got control of the ball when Olof Bergström tried to sneak it across the goal line.
