Hampus Benet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dick Algren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Hemse BK's Dick Algren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Alén in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Dan Klint was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hemse BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tierp the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hemse BK's Dan Klint got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes, Tierp's Sten Sjöberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dick Algren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tierp reached it. Håkan Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Hampus Benet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dick Algren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 34 minutes, Boris Låsberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hemse BK and the Tierp players grew even worse after the yellow card. Håkan Dahlquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dick Algren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Michael Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hemse BK and the Tierp players grew even worse after the yellow card. 39 minutes into the match, Tierp's Sten Sjöberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Håkan Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hampus Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Bergman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Tierp's Dick Algren threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Håkan Dahlquist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hampus Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Algren having to interfere. Håkan Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Håkan Dahlquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute Joel Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Dahlquist in the 74th minute of play forced Hemse BK's goalkeeper Dick Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Björling, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Joel Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlquist having to interfere. Aron Dahlquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl Björling went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Aron Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Björling in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Dahlquist saved Tierp from getting behind. When Michael Samuelsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of Tierp booed when Hemse BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hemse BK's Dick Algren got control of the ball when Hampus Benet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hampus Benet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Dick Algren made a huge save. Despite being the better team, Tierp failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
