Marcus Stenkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Stenkvist struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Birger Magnusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varekil BF. 27 minutes into the match, Richard Söderström notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Karesuando's Birger Magnusson. Birger Magnusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Karesuando's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Söderström came free, but Birger Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Varekil BF's Richard Söderström got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rdth minute of the game Richard Söderström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karesuando's Birger Magnusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Tage Ahlroth made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Karesuando's goalkeeper Birger Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Varekil BF's Birger Magnusson threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Richard Söderström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Karesuando's Birger Magnusson got control of the ball when Marcus Stenkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Birger Magnusson came out of the goal and Marcus Stenkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Ulf Algren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birger Magnusson stood somewhat misplaced when Marcus Stenkvist came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Richard Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Birger Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gösta Hansson's late challenge caught a Varekil BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gösta Hansson helped the player get up and apologised. Gösta Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Richard Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Magnusson having to interfere. Varekil BF played a much better game than Karesuando and deserved their victory. The Karesuando players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
