The Entrium if fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Arenberg should have stopped the shot. Ian Arenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Brummer in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Entrium if's Rune Borre got a free kick in the 8th minute. Nova Assassins FC's Bengt-Arne Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Entrium if got a freekick which was hit by Edward Forsberg. When Bengt-Arne Sandström came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Nova Assassins FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Sandström couldn't finish the play. Ian Arenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Broberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Entrium if's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Assassins FC the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Entrium if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Broberg to maneuver through the defense. Bengt-Arne Sandström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mark Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Blanck kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When Bengt-Arne Sandström, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ian Arenberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Entrium if's goalkeeper Ian Arenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dick Brummer. If Dick Brummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Entrium if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Borre to maneuver through the defense. Michael Zachrisson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Mark Ahlström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Josefsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Bengt-Arne Sandström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
After a defensive mix-up in Entrium if's zone, Dick Brummer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Arenberg came out of the goal and Dick Brummer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Arne Sandström in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Arenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute Dick Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Arenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Entrium if's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Sandström came free, but Ian Arenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Arenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Entrium if's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Sandström came free, but Ian Arenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Duset in the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Rune Borre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Entrium if's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Borre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
