The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bockstensmannen booed when Nero BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Malte Almkvist with Knut Kock as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 24th minute Oscar Bjurström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Enachescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iurie Enachescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Bjurström in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Nyberg got free with Edward Löfgren in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bockstensmannen's Edward Löfgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Bockstensmannen from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Nyberg in the 38th minute of play forced Bockstensmannen's goalkeeper Edward Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bockstensmannen's Paul Högman got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Inge Wiberg came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Nero BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Wiberg couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Bjurström to make the kick off. In the 69th minute Mats Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bockstensmannen defense, Måns Grep kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Löfgren. The Bockstensmannen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Löfgren should have stopped the shot. Bockstensmannen's Edward Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Nyberg in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nero BK had played much better football throughout.
