Jonathan Rosendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Popcornspojkarna's Ingvar Spets got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Boytoys BK booed when Popcornspojkarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Örtendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Aspengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rutger Hökkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Falkrantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Boytoys BK got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Nordström. 40 minutes into the match, Boytoys BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Falkrantz came free, but Rutger Hökkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Boytoys BK's Rutger Hökkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Falkrantz in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Kim Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boytoys BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Boytoys BK booed when Popcornspojkarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Spets didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stefan Jakobsson fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Popcornspojkarna's protests and gave Stefan Jakobsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Popcornspojkarna! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Boytoys BK. Andreas Hjälm stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Rosendahl. 0-4. Daniel Åkerberg's late challenge caught a Popcornspojkarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Åkerberg helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Åkerberg hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Rutger Hökkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Falkrantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
