The tension between the Popcornspojkarna and the Skanör BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Popcornspojkarna got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Örtendahl. Tobias Pil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Falkrantz in the 8th minute of the match. Sven Falkrantz struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Tobias Pil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Popcornspojkarna. Tobias Pil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Spets's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Skanör BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Falkrantz came free, but Tobias Pil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulrik Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Pil having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match Manfred Hellström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Pil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Rosendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Kihlman in the 27th minute of play. Kurt Lidström hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Skanör BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Falkrantz came free, but Tobias Pil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Popcornspojkarna booed when Skanör BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Myr didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Lindberg during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Popcornspojkarna's Jan Lundgren tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sven-Edvin Kihlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Rosendahl having to interfere. Sven Falkrantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven Falkrantz made a kick off. Tobias Pil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Falkrantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Ulrik Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Popcornspojkarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrik Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sven Falkrantz came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Popcornspojkarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Falkrantz couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Henric Alefors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrik Fransson got free with Tobias Pil in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Popcornspojkarna's Sven Falkrantz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Pil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tobias Pil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Falkrantz in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Rosendahl came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Kihlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Rosendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Kihlman in the 93rd minute of the match.
